A simple Pranayama sequence that can be used to start your class:
- Let’s start on our spine.
- Take a large inhale and exhale it.
- Congratulate yourself for having given yourself this time on your mat.
- I invite you to take a few deep breaths through your nostrils, expanding your belly & chest, filling your lungs.
- Now, exhale slowly through your nostrils and start to feel relaxed.
- Repeat with full awareness, observing your breath entering your body as you inhale deeply.
- Exhale through your nose and release all effort from your body & mind.
